Your ONE all time favorite love song?

For me it's "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" by Roberta Flack, from her CD "Softly with These Songs, the Best of Roberta Flack", on Atlantic. I'm looking for LOVE SONGS. Thanks and Cheers. Craig

Czarivey - Good pick. I enjoyed The Professional very much (especially loved Gary Oldman's acting and his little dissertation about Mozart vs Beethoven as "work" music). One of the few I've gone out and bought on DVD. Not that big a fan of Sting though I recognize his talents (just something annoying about him, to me) but I did pick up his CD, Ten Summoner's Tales, on the strength of that song, Shape of My Heart.
I voted in this thread several years ago, but I'll add another favorite of mine, this time in the folk genre. "Today" by the New Christy Minstrels, from 1964.

Al,
That's a beautiful song, and I had never heard it before. Thanks.
Coincidentally, earlier in this thread, I chose "Today" by Jefferson Airplane as one of the most beautiful love songs I know. I don't know if you are familiar with it.

Thanks, John (Roxy54). Although I'm familiar with, and somewhat like, a lot of the Airplane's work, somehow I had overlooked "Today." Enjoyed listening to it.

Best regards,
