SACD search for $4k-6k

I gave up my Krell to a friend who begged me until I sold it to him. Now I am looking for a different player. I really wanted the MF Tri-vista but I am told they are no longer available. Does anyone have any legitimate suggestions? I really like SACD 2ch analog over 5.1 which to me is quite unrealistic.

Just get an SCD-1 and be done with it, and save 3-4K. (throw those into Mods if you must spend the $.) Higher-priced (but not necessarily better) players would include aforementioned Teac DV-50 or for a more exotic choice, the Luxman.
Trivista: seen it, heard it, definitely unimpressive, esp. @ the (over)price.

FWIW - I have my Marantz SA-1 up for sale here. Has been upgraded with the new SuperClockII....simply amazing resolution. E-mail me if you are interested.
Fremer who owns a MF pretty much sez if to do over again
he would snatch the Krell up.
I second the SCD1, ask Dan Wright and Richard Kern
for the mod.Sony are 2k now, this might save you money.
Or the audience mod Sony 9000es.
Consider a used Classe Omega. I believe that there is one on Audiogon now. Disclaimer, I'm not the seller and don't know him, yada yada.
