Anyone familiar with a Stanton SPT-60 Turntable?

My elderly father's found a used (in good condition) Stanton SPT-60 turntable (with arm and cartridge) for sale at a pawnshop and is wondering if it's a quality turntable and what it might be worth. Anyone have any experience with this table - is it a keeper or a loser?

I need to read better! so its a SPT-60
I may very well be wrong but from what I've gathered from eBay it looks like the SPT-60 is around the middle of the Stanton line.Its a nice looking table.
