Line Source Loudspeakers

Seadog , I have the pipedream 21 system but your question is ambiguous. I can tell you that the line source in the Pipes throws a huge soundstage both width and heightwise . Depth was tricky and took some system synergy to achieve but now is very good. Dynamics are astounding and due to being a line sourcs , you can sit far away and get impact. You also however get electrifying effects up close with these , hence the name itself. What exacally are you asking?

How would you define what constitutes a line source loudspeaker? Is the one of the goals for the sound to be consistent and coherent from top to bottom in many listening positions in the room, and perhaps outside the room?

Yes, sound consistent and coherent from top to bottom in many listening postions in the room. I don't want my head in a vice to listen to the music. I was inviting comments on the speakers listed and any other ones that might appply.Thanks!
