What kind of paint works best on MDF board?

I apologize if this is in the wrong section of forums, I'm new and I couldn't figure out which area to put it in. However, I'm in the process of building my own speakers, (going the morel route, etc...) to save money and I want a high gloss black finish on the MDF? Anyone who has experience, your feed back would be deeply appreciated!!!!
Thanks,

I should also add, you could try calling up some Piano restoration services and explain to them what you are doing.

If they know you are not trying to steal their secerts to start a competing service and just want to make some beatiful speakers; they might be willing to let you in on some tips and maybe even give you a lesson or two.

Have fun,
Nick
If you're spraying lacquer you'll need to use a vinyl sealer. If you're spraying paint you'll need to use a primer. In either case you will have to sand between coats and after the final coat has cured for at least a couple of weeks you'll have sand the finish as smooth as a babies bottom and then rub out the finish with rubbing compounds to obtain a mirror like professional high gloss finish.
Thanks a lot for the helpful advice guys I really appreciate it. I didn't realize how many layers of primer and paint you need to make it come out good, but now I do and it will!!! THanks again,
Kris
