Hi Melbguy, I'm not sure why you directed that toward me. I put my system together less than a year ago after a few years of research. My acquisition and complete assemblage took about six months. I could not imagine ever wanting to change any of my components. I do understand your personal position regarding music, as it does well pertain to me. I can now only focus on exploring more Jazz, my strongest musical impression as a boy. I am a male and so i can also fully understand one's fascination with gear, as I very much enjoy reading of others equipment swapping exploits and experiences. Their thing is providing me with entertainment and knowledge. Share the love :)

Iso, I think you missed my point. I was referring to your previous comment in defence of Judyazblues. It was a value judgment on the merits of your comment, not your interest in music.

@ Isochronism, Hi, I missed the point to, audiophiles every where like to make them selfs feel better about their equipment, we are talking about lots of money here!, society believes we are fools for the money we spend on audio!, I know Melbguy1 has alot to be proud of!, He has a wonderful system!, He talks about it, like we all talk about what we have and what we like to have, nothing wrong with doing so, It is my believe, thats what audiogon posting boards are about!, cheers my dear friend!

A member of this forum doesn't need to actually converse with you to understand your character. They can do that by simply reading yours posts in the background. Judyazblues called it the way he sees it, and from my point of view that is fair enough. I think you should take it on the chin. I don't think you really want this thread to become an airing of your past history on this forum. My advice is put it behind and you move on.
