Thanks. What would you suggest for a moderately used amp or receiver? I'm having an NAD 7400 reconditioned (pots etc. )any better, or should I scrap them for new or moderate price wise? I need direction as a novice.
If your NAD 7400 has enough power to drive your speakers properly, I would say get a new preamp instead. It should make a bigger difference. The amp and preamp sections on your NAD are jumped externally. That allows you to bypass the preamp section of your current amp altogether.
