Tivoli Radio???

Has anyone heard one of these? My girlfriend want to buy one. She says they sound great. Looks like another Bose scam to me.

Sure, I'll kick you to the curb Dan -- but not for acknowledging that a Wave can sound better than a Tivoli, for the class of hotel in Paris you get to stay in!! ;^) (I've recently given in to reality and made the move up from Motel 6 to Super 8 [where I go, not Paris!], so at least I usually *do* get a clock radio now...) Man, it probably wasn't even chained to the tabletop!
I jusr recieved a Tivoli iPal today, for my office. My first impression is that it's a very good little portable radio.
We have a portable 4-band Sangean CC Radio (AM FM TV Weather) which sounds very good playing through it's own speaker, & has a multitude of options including an emergency weather alert function. It always travels along on boating excursions etc: cost about $150 from Herrington's mail order.
I had a Tivoli Model One for a while and was underwhelmed with the sound so I gave it away to my seven year old nephew. A fifteen year old KLH 100 made by Kyocera I use in my kitchen is much better. I do like the PAL model as it is portable and more interesting from a design point of view.
