Emotiva RSP-2 Preamp users.

I too would love to hear from Emotiva users, both the pre and the power amps...

What you get for the price seems incredible... Anyone using these?

I recently purchased an RSP-2 and XPA-2, driving a pair of Magnepan 1.6QRs. I have not done any A-B comparisons with other amplifiers, so my opinion may be of somewhat limited utility. However, I am more than somewhat pleased with it. The 250 wpc XPA-2 drives the maggies beautifully, really bringing out the base in a very controlled way. To my ear at least, these do not do anything wrong. The phone stage on the RSP-2 seems to work particularly well with my Rega p3/24 and Dynavector 10x5 cart.

Also, Emotiva's customer sevrice is great and their return policy allows you to buy without much risk.

Yeah, I've kind of drunk the blue cool-aid.

Goatwuss, i jumped into hi-fi with a couple (biamped) LPA-1's which was their first round offering @ 125W x 7 and the LMC-1 pre/pro. The amps were pretty good sounding, the value for the dollar is high for what you get. I still run the pre/pro from them and it works fine for home theater. Heard good things about the 2 channel pre and amp that the OP is asking about.
