MC-7250 vs. Parasound HCA-1205A & Adcom GFA-565's

Hello,

I'm thinking about upgrading to my first McIntosh amp and would like some inputs from fellow Audiogonners...

Current setup:
Speakers:
Kef XQ5 Mains and XQ2C Center Channel
Amps:
Adcom GFA-565 monoblocks for mains (300wpc @ 8ohms)
Parasound HCA-1205A for center and rears (5x140wpc @ 8ohms)

Thinking about replacing the Adcoms and Parasound with a McIntosh MC-7250 (5x120wpc @ 8ohms) which I believe I can get a good deal on. I've seen so many good things posted about McIntosh amps, and I'm thinking this might be my chance to own one. Worth the upgrade? Is the McIntosh really a better amp, or am I just paying for the name and blue lights?

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Chris

I think the fair comparison would to replace the Parasound with the Mcintosh.
The Adcom will outclass the Mcintosh in power. But once you get the Mac you will see and hear the difference in quality
