Buffalo Springfield maybe? The spring board for CSN&Y and Poco. Maybe not the best short lived band but they were certainly a very influential band from the folk/rock fusion genre of the mid 60's.
Blind Faith. For sure. Absolutely. Not even close. "Do What You Like" is worth the price of admission on it's own. Ginger Baker's solo is BY FAR the best rock solo of that era...probably of all time. And don't go all Neil Pert on me.
