Ipod and accessory power help
Didn't your iPod come with a wall charger? Try googling "USB Charger"; you'll come up with lots of stuff like http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000167V46/sr=8-1/qid=1149864671/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-7782061-4092754?%5Fencoding=UTF8 |
Are you asking if there is a simple way to plug your IPOD into your home audio system? If so, then yes. Several companies make Y spliters that plug into your IPOD where the earphones normally go and then have RCA conectors at the other end. Then there is also airport and airport extreme for wireless whole house use. |
Apple makes a USB power adapter: http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wo/2.RSLID?mco=63413C01&nplm=M9837LL%2FA which used to come standard with iPods but is now an extra cost accessory. An alternative is a cheap powered USB hub like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817392006 which will supply power to any device connected to it. Not as elegant as the Apple product, but cheaper and more practical. |
