Home Theater Receiver recommendations for B&W 803S?
You were asking about the Bryston SP3, which is a HT Processor.  This is not a "receiver".  It is a mult-channel preamp/processor and still requires an amplifier.  If you are looking for an HT Processor, it becomes difficult to get a good one for ...
Home Theater Receiver recommendations for B&W 803S?
uhm, no.  I'm suggesting adding an amplifier to connect to your current Denon receiver.

Good to know. lol
DAC suggestion Please
RME makes some very good stuff if you are looking at the mid-proaudio level. It is a distributed and "reseller" item, so there will be considerable mark-up. That’s not bad, but expected with many item. There are some things that the Gustard has wh...

Oh one more option that caphill likes to recommend is the Classe Sigma SSP processor.  It supports 4K, however only supports HDCP 2.2 through one input (HDMI input 4).  It is also a very nice processor, but as good as it is, it does not have discr...
Home Theater Receiver recommendations for B&W 803S?
I actually tried the SP3 in my system.  Before I speak, you should probably know that I am extremely highly critical of equipment and sound - to the point where others say that I'm splitting hairs, lol.  A sound extremest, if you will.----That bei...
B&W Nautilus 803 or B&W 702 S2?
Oh, one more recommendation (and I did this in another thread) are the new Revel Performa Be speakers.
B&W Nautilus 803 or B&W 702 S2?
@caphill - just following up.  I did get a chance at RMAF (first time) to hear a bunch of speakers.  The Sonus Faber are definitely an excellent sounding speaker (my friend has a set of bookshelves mated with all Krell Evolution generation electro...

Yes, it was the latest AV8805 processor.  I have not directly heard the 8802 or 8803, but I suspect that there really isn't that much difference.  The 8802 was already extremely well designed with large main power supply and a lot of localized pow...

Agree.  That Denon AVR-4308CI is already at the top level of receiver power supply capability.  You are not going to get anything better by upgrading to something newer, other than support for 4K.----It would be better to get a really high curre...
Fuse upgrades? -- 6.3 amp 250v 5X20mm fast blow fuses
Honestly, I would rather get tin-plated beryllium copper (which is usually mostly copper with 2-5% bronze) then the most expensive silver-plated brass.  The tin plated copper is not that bad and it is definitely more neutral than silver plated or ...

I guess Jafant had comments on the Aerial 7T and Revel. The Aerial 7T is going to be a very smooth and forgiving speaker, somewhat laid back. If you want detail, this is not the speaker for you. They are radically different than the older generati...

I have heard the Tektons.  For the value, they are excellent.  However, be aware that it is a large number of drivers (on double impact, it is 11 drivers per speaker).  At $3,000 retail, you are basically getting a lot of cheap drivers.  If you're...

Yes, audiogon is suffering from a lot of web site errors and instability this weekend.  I usually "copy" my entire post before hitting "submit" just in case the site jinks.----Yeah, I agree that the cheap fuses with nickel plated end caps are not ...

I may have to disagree with you just a little bit, soix.  I have heard the older Polk Rti speakers and they are actually a pretty good product.  Not the highest resolution, but very well balanced and definitely not bright/harsh.  Obviously, there ...
