DAC Magic or MF V-DAC? How about Audio Sector's non-oversampling DAC? The kit is $330 for SPDIF. Less for USB. Assembled is $80.00 more. Not shown on Peter's site but still available. It is very similar to ~$1,300 Altmann Attraction DAC but ~1/4 the cost.Which is better?...
Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em? And some contrary views by Ted Jordan"It would seem at first logical to design loudspeaker systems to have the widest possible angle of distribution, in fact the omni-directional design would seem ideal - actually this is quite untrue. It is now g...
How tall are your speaker stands Thanks for the input. It looks like I need at least 30" which I question the stability as I never see commercial stands this tall. So it looks like either 24" stands on stands or DIY.

How do you judge your system's neutrality? I've been doing critical listening lately from 12-24" away. You can hear a lot more hash and detail from the driver than the normal 6-10 feet. Cuts out room interactions too.I don't know why but listening farther away smooths out the sound and als...

Tinnitus - do you have ringing in the ears? Can also be due to a blocked eustacian tubeHome remediesOr poor drainage of cranial sacral fluid. This may be adjusted by an osteopathic doctor or by cranial sacral release: a procedure where the doc moves your head to align your spine.

High WAF, simple, integrated amplifier I would suggest the Denon D-F101s which is probably at least the equal of Arcam but much,. much cheaper due to high volume.
