vienna acoustics haydn with denon avr3803??? I think Denon sounds sort of dead. A very good match would be Harman Kardon AVR receiver refurbed at www.harmanaudio.com. The silk tweeter should nicely mellow out the peaky HF of the H-K. | |

Does full range guarantee bass? Rsbeck, try some Mackie HR 624's. These are active 2 ways, bass as you describe. I don't think a passive 2-way can match the tight, deep, bass of an active design. | |
