vienna acoustics haydn with denon avr3803???
I think Denon sounds sort of dead. A very good match would be Harman Kardon AVR receiver refurbed at www.harmanaudio.com. The silk tweeter should nicely mellow out the peaky HF of the H-K.
Recommend speakers for a strange move
Epos M15, Red Rose has a new $1,200 ribbon / carbon fiber speaker, B&W CDM 7nt. But your room may be too big for these.New Monitor Audio S series and B&W CM6 okay for H-T.

Opinions on Fluance...
Commissar, try a Harmon Kardon. I was impressed for the money. It is a high current (for a receiver), wide bandwidth design. They are slightly lively and I think would match well with Mission which could use some dynamic punch. You can buy refurbis...

How about concrete blocks for speaker stands. Let's see your cat knock them over! Assuming you don't have a Tiger, Lynx, Bobcat :-)
