Legacy Speakers??
Legacy 20/20 was good, Vandersteen Quatros are great in comparison. Thats what was discovered when speaker shopping last time with my father, the Legacys were boxed up and never missed.
Black-Eyed-Peas, the future of modern music?
Auto tube coming on premature was just another flaw in the prgram, I know its no secret, it was however a sloppy transition. One more cherry on the poop sunday.
Black-Eyed-Peas, the future of modern music?
They should just play a tape of Whitneys Anthem during Desert Sheild/storm and be done with it. PEP on the other did sing live but if you listened close you could hear autotune being turned on while they were talking.........premature launch of it...
Black-Eyed-Peas, the future of modern music?
The music, Anthem, commercials all sucked IMO, the pre game video clips by Sam Elliot and Michael Douglas were over the top aswell. But Steelers lost so all is well! Steelers fans look like bumblebees with bad shaves, and the men look even worse.
Black-Eyed-Peas, the future of modern music?

Cable + Onkyo + HDMI = periodic audio drop outs
Try a digital coax or toslink for sudio and see if that helps, you will still get all the benefits of HDMI video but perhaps no audio issue.
Cable + Onkyo + HDMI = periodic audio drop outs
I would get drop outs like that with voltage swings if a fridge or something like furnace kicked on, in my case it was just a bit loose digital coax wire that fixed mine but it happened when appliances kicked on and off.
Need A great Processor
I couldnt agree more about Emotiva.....what a shame. I have the Anthem D2V and its pricey but well worth it if your serious. If you dont need HDMI it really opens up a world of options used.

Why the obsession with the lowest octave
Tvad nailed it like he often does. If its meant to be there and the folks who composed or wrote the music went to the trouble of putting it there why not strive to hear their efforts? Doesnt seem weird or silly to want an honest and full scale rep...
Is 11' distance from projector screen too close?
I can see one in 12 minutes by driving to "The sound shop" in Canfield Oh or in an hour by going to "Audio Visions" in Strongsville Oh..... so lets not go there. Nor should we pretend that their models trump the image of consumer based product lin...
