Graham ls5/9 vs Harbeth M30.1 Good question, have not heard any other Harbeth speakerbut maybe the Graham sits between the two!I felt that the Graham had deeper bass than the 30.1But I heard the 30.1 in an unfamiliar room, and not a good room at that. I listen mostly near fiel...
A lot of hype about PS Audio, deservedly so ? Wondering if anyone here uses the BHK 250 and the Signature BHK pre with bbc class speakers., my speakers are 87db into 8 ohm and I often play at low volume late at night and would like a system that has good resolution and musicality, without alw...
A lot of hype about PS Audio, deservedly so ? I am a subscriber to Paul’s videos on YouTube, have been for a while, and although some talk about big improvement using expensive cables, I usually like what he says!He seams like a down to earth good man, and if I lived closer I would not mind l...
A lot of hype about PS Audio, deservedly so ? Yes, it was their Dac that caught my eye too, I like the way that it is software upgradable.Have not had separates before, I like to have a simple system as possible, therefore have been looking more into Luxman and Accuphase integrated amps, that...
A lot of hype about PS Audio, deservedly so ? Shadorne, can I ask what speakers you are using ?
A lot of hype about PS Audio, deservedly so ? Yeah the way they can upgrade the dac is very compelling, I have tubes in my pre section on one of my integrated amps, and planned to get away from tubes in the future, also I have seen Paul recommend changing the tubes every year!! which seams a ...
A lot of hype about PS Audio, deservedly so ? As been stated here PS Audio is not a new company, and I think that BMW as a company is both older and has a much finer pedigree than Toyota. In Europe Toyota is seen as a very conservative company that likes to copy rather than innovative;-)
A lot of hype about PS Audio, deservedly so ? Yeah, I heard someone referred to that, but it could depend on the speakers also, probably easier to hear tube hiss in speakers with high sensitivity.
A lot of hype about PS Audio, deservedly so ? Do you hear any hiss from your speakers when no music is playing, or does the music come from a pitch black background as they say ?
A lot of hype about PS Audio, deservedly so ? Thanks for all the replies guys, it is not my intention in any way to put the company down, I am very interested in their product line, got a nice quote on their top dac, the signature preamplifier and the 250 amp to use with my Graham Audio LS 5/...
Graham ls5/9 vs Harbeth M30.1 I use a solid state amp 100w powerful, but a bit lean and I also use an other solid state that has tubes in the pre amp section, about 150w it is more sweet sounding, but could have some more detail. The plan is to get me a better amp, been looking...
Graham ls5/9 vs Harbeth M30.1 A bit difficult to answer, I audition the 30.1 in a store, but bought the Graham Audio LS 5/9 unheard! I like the Graham’s better, hearing the Harbeths in the store was a revelation, but also too much of everything, well the midrange.I find the Gr...
