| Which adcom sounds best? I have a GFA555 , 2535 , 5802 that are currently in my system . The 5802 is a mosfet design , where as the 555 & 2535 are bipolar . My 555 use to drive my Infinity Kappa 9s . Just listen and hear what sounds best to you . | |

| Carver VS Adcom Hi , I have used the 555 for 20 years . I have also had a few Carver amps back in 80s . I personally would keep the Adcom . You can have it modded at a later time also. They sold a blue million of these for a reason , good luck . | |
| Solid state amp for Stratus Gold i Hi , im currently using an Adcom 5802 with good results . I also have used a Adcom 555 . I prefer the sound of mosfet vs bipolar . Good luck those speakers have great base . |
