Can anyone tell me about the Proceed PAV good /bad Are you sure you meant the Proceed PAV? There is a big difference between the Proceed PAV and the Audible Illusions L1. The PAV is an older, outdated, solid state surround sound processor (SSP), which sounded good in two channel for a SSP, but I d...
Preamp Options-Classe,Muse,SF,BAT,Adcom Tim,I currently own a Classe CP-60, I don't know about erratic comments, the only complaints I've heard about it have to do with the ergonomics of the volume control. It has a 60 stepped gain control, some folks claimed that in their systems, they...
speaker sensitivity dividing lines That looks 'spot on' to me Sean. I think that's a rather good tool for beginners. That would put me right smack in the middle of medium @ 90 db.John

Newbie que on "recommended amplifier" rating Most speaker damage occurs from using a under-powered amp than too much power. An amp 'clips' when it is driven past it's rated power, that's what damages voice coils. I believe you can never have 'clean' power. Those amps should be fine.Regards,John
