@jeffseight See if you can find a "Monster Power, Dr. Power", on eBay. Well built and works well, plugs into the AC outlet, and/or hold the unit near potential noise sources to check.

From what I've read on various forums and a few audiophile friends that own them I'd agree, and give consideration to the Silversmith Fidelium speaker cables.

I'd select the last one you listed, which is the one your friend selected. I like it best because it's silver-plated copper and I believe of the selections you listed that one will sound best. Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like the actual...

Prior to purchasing an Audiodharma Cable Cooker, that's how I use to break in my power cords.
