Furutech AC Receptacles +1 aniwolfe. That’s what I did. In fact, I picked up a pair of slight used Carbon Fiber 104 plates off eBay for $55 each. That’s half off and they were like new. Last time I check, they were available. And yes, the plate along with GTX frame does ...
Jazz FM 91 interviews Diana Krall Thanks for sharing... can't wait to hear her new album on Friday.
Isoacoustics Gaia Speaker Footers Each Puck with a weight bearing capability of 20lbs, 3 or 4 of them can be combined to support the weight of a product requiring isolation.
Isoacoustics Gaia Speaker Footers @lak , I was told that ISO-PUCKS won't be available for another month. I ordered 6 sets to tried them out under different components. I drooled over HRS Nimbus and other uber expensive isolators for a while. I hope to put an end to my search with ...
Isoacoustics Gaia Speaker Footers I picked up a set of GAIA I for my B&W 800D2’s after hearing the demo at AXPONA. I will report my findings once I install them later this week.
Class D is just Dandy! @kdude66 That's quite a coincidence...I just ordered a pair of Bel Canto's REF600M's to try them out. The ATI 544NC amp is equipped with dual NC-500 modules in bridge mode per channel, so plenty of power (900W in 4 ohms load) to drive any speaker ...
Class D is just Dandy! @kdude66,"I have a new Red Dragon S500....Kenny, I tried this amp recently with my B&W 800D2’s. While it sounded wonderfully adequate in low end and detailed in mid’s /high’s, it didn’t quite push the 800’s the way my current amp does from ATI...
Class D is just Dandy! @guidocorona, I believe Bel Canto's REF600M is based on Hypex’s NC500 OEM module and SMPS1200 power supply. They do not use the NC1200 Hypex module. I am hoping to try the 600's in next couple of weeks. It would be interesting to see how these m...
Cambridge Audio Azur 851N @tomaswv, Can you stream Tidal Hi-Fi on 851N? I know the streamer has a built-in support for Spotify.
Class D is just Dandy! @jrunr, I don’t have any direct experience with 7B’s but I was in similar situation as you. I own a pair of B&W 800’s and they are quite power hungry. After sticking with Class A/B amps for couple of years I begin experimenting with Class D am...
Audiophile quality streamer/server-in-one without a DAC. Does this exist? I owned the stock SONOS connect and did not bother to try any mods since I upgraded to Aurender N100H. I am not sure W4S / SONOS upgrade worthwhile unless you're able to take advantage of high resolution MQA albums now available through Tidal. La...
Audiophile quality streamer/server-in-one without a DAC. Does this exist? @joshelston, As far setup goes, I started off with SONOS connect paired to Krell processor, then Aurender N100H / Modwright Elyse DAC. And now, Aurender N10 with Audio Research DAC9. SONOS connect is a very versatile player and like others say, ...
Audiophile quality streamer/server-in-one without a DAC. Does this exist? +1 for Aurender.
Axpona Shout Outs MBL room on lower level was the best, IMO. The $75K speakers were mind blowing. Wish I can afford them :-)So many other rooms had good affordable setups. I also liked Avant-garde and Canton speakers. Great show overall, enjoyed my time.
