World's Best Stereo System ?...
The "world's best stereo system" is my own. A. It does what I want it to do. No more, no less. B. It sounds great to me. Better than ever thanks to some advice from Audiogon members. C. It's paid for and I could afford it without taking out a m...
Blank audio cassettes ARE still made, even in the United States
Sorry Elliot, I misunderstood you. I thought you were selling BLANK tapes. Now I realize you're speaking of pre-recorded tapes. Woops.
Fluorescent light noise through tuner
Can't really get too far away from the lights with the antenna. I could test somewhat by hooking stuff up upstairs when I get the time. That would tell me if it's air or the house wiring. That still wouldn't solve the issue downstairs though. Or ...
American Made Audio Products
@oddiofyl   Yes, they sure do a lot of their work right in Binghamton. All of it I would guess. Just for the record though, they do use some parts made in China. I'm not talking about resistors, capacitors etc. Heavier stuff like heat sinks, spea...

A lot of interesting responses here! @jc4659 I HAD to look up Monty Python's Matching Tie and Handkerchief LP with 3 sides. The interesting explanation from Wikipedia is: "The album's original LP edition is particularly notable in that it was ma...
I can't believe this.

Songs of debauchery and excess
@bikeboy52 You’re welcome. That’s one of the many joys of music. It brings up old memories. I never saw Ian Dury and The Blockheads live but that song played a lot on the FM dial back in the day. Being in high school at the time, we adopted it as ...
