Classical Music for Aficionados Well, when the composer calls for hemidemisemiquavers, it's nice to have a pianist who can actually execute them both correctly and artistically.
Classical Music for Aficionados Hamelin's splendid new disc of Listz/Thalberg opera transcriptions and fantasies. Listen to those fingers fly!
KEF Reference 5 aftermarket plinths, base, or feet options? https://soundocity.com/product-category/outriggers/ Something from the offerings shown here?
Suggestions for New CD Player Send it back. Surely you're still within the return window.Burn-in, cables, etc. can make incremental improvements, but they won't change your fundamental reaction to the unit.
What would you do? I want to increase soundstage and curb a slight tendency for high end harshness.Acoustic treatment of the room would specifically address both of those desiderata. And I know that the room plays a big role but I can't make changes there. What do...
Smart TV digital output to Powered Speakers Did you post over here too: AVS ForumYou might get more answers over there.
What would you do? Treat the room acoustically. Look at GIK (though they have a long backlog at the moment) and other companies. There are plenty of threads on this. Searching GIK will take you to most of them.

Both of which are well outside your price range.SS: along with Pass and Accuphase, I'd add Su...

High end Class D amps? Only in the case of the Voyager, the field it's playing on is shaped like a dodecagon.
question for Luxman L-590AX owners @imhififan This is fascinating. So is a toroidal core like a spool of one continuous sheet wrapped around itself, or is it built up of an accretion of concentric circular sheets, each one slightly larger in diameter than the previous?
Iso-Puck Question Oreas work best when not at the upper limit specified by Isoacoustics. I imagine the same applies to Iso-pucks. Using just 3 (rather than 4 or certainly 4) may also be advantageous. |
