| 30 to 50 watts seems to be all I desire I drive really low efficiency speakers (86 dB electrostatics) with 45 watts (big Class A watts, but only a max of 45 of them) with no need for any more. | |

| CDP or Transport and DAC? Recomendations? Don’t bother with a transport, just rip all your CDs on your computer and transfer the files to a couple of redundant network attached hard drives. Put the extra money (if any) into a better DAC. | |
