Anyone else never get tired of Billie Holiday?

She’s my all time favorite vocalist.

Anyone have recommendations for specific recordings?

I prefer her older work and picked up this.

Im a big fan, but only ever had her greatest hits cd which Ive had for at least 20 years. Recently I bought her Ultimate Collection (Amazon), a 3 disc set. Fabulous
I never "get tired" of BH but have to be in the right mood since she sings with such overwhelming emotion. I can't think of anyone else like her.
I should add that the Verve set I mentioned has a lot of outtakes and studio ramblings. Some might find it annoying, but hearing Billie sing 'My Yiddishe Mama' to her child was pretty neat.
Of course, if you don't want to buy that set, you can definitely stream it on Qobuz. You'll get the finished albums without the outtakes.

In terms of the artistry and raw power of the emotions she conveyed, there are few artists that compare to her.  On top of that, her voice was pretty unique.

The only artist with a similar voice was Marilyn Moore.  Ms. Moore only recorded one album, but, it is something that can be found quite easily.  I believe it was called "Moody Marilyn Moore."
