I thank everybody. I am not ignoring your opinions.
Now I have a little time I will start to find out what cables
are feasible for me to get.

best FLEXIBLE cables
Morrow's solid core seems somewhat more flexy than others, and I use Canare Star Quad for my REL subs...solid core stuff like my AQ speaker cables are stiffer by design (thicker or more runs of solid core) but flexibility seems irrelevant with speaker cables unless you need to move the speakers often or let your pet monkeys play jump rope with them, a common issue. |
I am a cable manufacturer, (Bionic Cables) and ours are NOT flexible. lol System matching is important. Your electronics with those speaker can be pretty bright so I would pick a richer cable. The Audience are grain free and smooth but may not be warm enough. Worth a try though. Other safe choices are Cardas and Purist. (Some Purists are flexible) I am normally not a fan of Transparent but it would be a good match for your system and as long as you can sit the networks on something or strap them, the cables are flexible. |
Try the Canare Starquad microphone cables (Canare’s L-4E6S or L-4E5C). Super flexible. http://www.canare.com/ProductItemDisplay.aspx?productItemID=53 Have, Inc. is my go to source for these cables. http://store.haveinc.com/default.aspx |
After owning several makes of garden hose type speaker cables, I have switched to thin flexible types and will never go back. I have used and recommend the following: 1) Audience Au24 se, and Sx 2) Black cat cable Lectraline and any of their new cables 3) Crystal Cable Piccolo 4) Teo gc interconnects 5) Clear Day Cables silver speaker cables and interconnects The Clear Day and Black Cat are probably the least expensive, but also very good. All of these can be found here on Audiogon used. Hope this helps |
