Cork room treatments

I worked with cork wall and floor covering in the 80's.

Don't know about sonics, but unless sealed cork smells (for a long, long time while outgassing).

It might be better in a particular bandwidth than the rest of the freq range. Perhaps you could get one order and place on the side walls on each side close to the speaker and see how it works that way. You could also temp glue onto something you can take it off easily if you decide to get more and need to change the panel.

Thanks.  We haven't pulled the trigger yet.  It's a bit expensive for the area we want to do.   Im sure it's not as good as acustic panels and bass traps but given my constraints it's an option that would look good and acusticly be better than a painted wall

Great idea. Sure looks like it would be effective, unfortunately I have no experience.

Interesting product buy I never used it. Just looking at it, the cork material should have a little bit of absorption and the design a little bit of diffusion. However both would be very minimal since it is not thick enough for true absorption and not enough differences in depths to truly act as a diffuser. Try to find some reviews on it outside their website before commiting is my advice.
