Does Age Matter?

Having read and contributed to several threads on the digital vs analog controversy I developed a nagging itch that suggested it is older people that prefer analog and younger people digital. If this is the case than there is most definitely a nostalgic element to that opinion. Perhaps we can answer that question. I will go first. Please do not ruminate on the differences. Age and preference, digital, analog or both! We'll tally the results at the end.

I am 67 and like Both analog and digital.

Age 80.  Prefer Analog slightly, but listen equally to analog and digital.  SACD and DVD-A prefered to CD all else equal (rarely is).  And tape preferred to LP.
@lalitk, I ran a tally a while ago when I thought the thread was dying but I guess it got a life of it's own. I'll do it again when it has not seen any action for 24 hours.
I am 66.
I collect vinyl. I buy CD when the content is not available on vinyl. I listen on you tube to determine if it’s worth owning in a vinyl or CD format. My ratio of vinyl to CD is about 20 to 1.
I am 60 and I prefer top-end analogue to top-end digital, CD format coming last.HOWEVER, I listen to digital mostly (laziness)
I'm now pushing very close to 70 and started my journey into nice home audio some 40 years ago.
I still have a large collection of vinyl and keep my eyes open for clean old vinyls at thrift stores and flea markets and occasionally still pick up a new pressing. I also have a large CD collection that, like gregm, I listen to more than the vinyl, mostly out of laziness - even though I still prefer the sound of analog.
Except for in the vehicles, I haven't much desire to jump into streaming. At least for me, it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks....Jim
