Hello, In terms of sound and resale which system would you choose 1 to 5 year old electronics and 35 to 45 year old speakers or vise versa? Resale could be each component of the system or system as a whole. Assuming everything is very good quality and condition.
Right. Can we all just get along? Everyone knows old Klipschorns with a new Raven amp is better than new Wilsons with an old Dynaco. Its true for sound quality. Its true for resale.
I don't know if you looked at Rhodes system page, but I would take any of his three pairs of speakers any day. Just stunning in my opinion. Go large or go home.
Crap, I'm getting old. Or, I just know how to get great sound! My speakers are over 60 years old originals and my power amps are 50+ years old. Admittedly, rebuilt.
