RIP Otis Rush

Please say it isn't so. He was the man, this one hurts.

Another great one gone.

I remember we’d see him at a small Blues bar on the north side of Chicago.  My friend & I were underage but tall so, they’d let us in. That wouldn’t happen today.

It’s a grim reality check when all the great artists you have grown up with start dying.....

One of the very best and will be sorely missed. Although, it must be said, reaching 84 when you have spent a lot of your life touring the blues circuit is quite an achievement in itself.

Hey guys and gals, we be getting old.  The artists we grew up with are getting old along with us.  I recall reading somewhere that Paul Simon is retiring.  RIP Otis.
