Search for B&W Silver Signature 25/30 Speakers
Hi, I just had a transcendent experience listening to some B&W Silver Signature 25s ran by Dynaco MkIIIs, and it so far surpassed anything I had ever heard in terms of sound-staging, clarity, immediacy, and lack of fatique that I am dead-set on acquiring some. I currently have Vandersteen 2CE Sig IIIs which I have loved, but I have heard a lot of gear and previously thought ADS 2030s to be the best I heard before. These particular B&Ws sound significantly better than any of the other models I have heard, including the latest 802 D4s. That being said, I had wondered if anyone who had heard these speakers knew of other potential alternatives since they are rare, it seems? I have heard good things about. Does anyone know the magic of these speakers I am talking about? Are there any newer B&Ws actually sound as good?

@glennewdick The ADS I have heard have all belonged to friends of mine. I currently only have the Vandersteen 2s. They were my dream speaker too until I heard the way these B&Ws play classical music, and their imaging. |
