The Inakustik are the best sounding commercially made cable I have ever heard but are out performed by my DIY Helix cables by a good margin and can be tailored to a particular sound by the conductor of your choice at any time.
@williewonka ,I agree, not everyone is into DYI.I believe wig had tried them, but has moved on. I have absolutely no intention of moving away from Inakustik. If anything I will go with this brand if I have to add more cables.
I just got some 1 meter Audience FrontRow speaker cables and they sound great with my Thiel CS3.7's and all Benchmark stack. I love the Audience cables because nothing stands out. I feel like you are hearing everything that is there in the recording.
What type (cable) do you guy's feel will give a great sound with imaging and bass impact with Electrostats and Ribbons, I have Acoustats and Apogee Duetta Signatures, and that I don't have to pay out of this world price for, I would like to go from amp to speaker at 20'. Thank's
Never owned Wilson but I’ve heard several variations of the W/P. I’d definitely look for a cable that gets out of the way and avoid silver cables. I think WyWires would sound great on your Wilson as they don’t draw attention to themselves, but get out of the way and breath. Very organic cables.
Transparent works well with Wilson and Krell. (The transparent Super Speaker Cable) is where you should start. I went from Cardas Clear light to Transparent. They both sound great. I prefer the Transparent. However I have found in the past that the Transparent can sound not so good with different Equipment . With the Wilsons you are most of the way there. Good Luck
