suggestions for a new stereo floor speakers

I currently own an kef R300 only reason I bought it because they stopped making the cherry wood version and it had a 30% discount . I paired It with my brother’s Yamaha v671

ive used it for five years and want to give it away to a friend.

I have a medium sized room and enjoy listening to house music and the tight bass of the R300 is great also movies sound fantastic .

I am unable to test any of these systems because they will be shipped over seas and i am aware that different people will like different speakers but some speakers are over priced for no reason and i dont want to fall for the marketing trap.

im leaning towards the Quad Z4 because ive heard great things.
