Tekton ultimate crossover upgrade

It's a factory upgrade,  I'm not touching them. 

My personal opinion on the Mundorf Silver/Oil caps... they sound very smooth, cool, splashy.  You will notice a difference, but to my ears they add too much "air" and I don't know if I'd like it for long.  I put air in quotes because it's not real.  I mean, it sounds like a coloration as opposed to natural.

In terms of the Tekdon Impact Monitors, I would rework the crossover before I upgraded anything. 

Parts to Msrp on Tekton speakers is unsurpassed IMO. You could hardly build them for the cost. Plus the DIs I had did things better than a lot of more expensive speakers. Great tone, super detail, fast, etc. only issue was at super loud volumes the cabinets talked a bit. Thinking back I should not have been so critical of that since I was pushing them into 100db range and I don’t listen more than 90db at the absolute most. I think Eric is a great designer for the man’s man. Or chick whatever…… lol. 

Looking at the Moab.  I thinking the price to parts quality is there.  Mainly looking for listening impressions or if people think the Mundorf parts will bring a real step up in SQ or sound stage.

Depending on the quantity of parts, $1800 might be a steep price for what you’re getting.
