The build "quality" is something to see. Particularly if you compare it to anything built in Shenzen in the last five years. At a wild guess, this is a hobby project that sells for silly prices. Gotta give them credit for the creative writing in the brochure ... not every audio product claims "alien technology" as part of the design brief. |
The original video has now been posted back up after the takedown by several YT channels. A perfect example of the Streisand effect. One can hope this will remind manufacturers to take care of their customers, especially when they’re spending well over $20k on their product. Fix the thing for a reasonable fee, and throw in a few dozen plastic standoffs for the customer’s trouble. If Tom is only building 10 a year, it’ll probably be even less now. Rare doesn’t necessarily equal good. |
