Warm sounding amp to a mixer

Hi there, I'm looking for a warm sounding amp to connect to my Bozak mixer.
The mixer throws off mids and highs when playing digital (very warm to vinyl).

Thoughts on using tube/solid state power amp or maybe getting an integrated amp?

Appreciate your help here.

Thanks!

Erik:
Kilpsch KG 5.5 speakers in my living room which is not a large one.
Not listening to a particular genre.
Appreciate your feedback.
Thanks!
Well, it would be funky, but also kind of a good mix is a used Yamaha Pro Natural Sound P series amp from the 80's?

You can find them from around 45 watts to 500/ch.

Best,

There are different opinions about the B&K EX 4420 some say the sound is very warm others are very critical. Confused.

Do you think an integrated amp will help coloring the sound? the mixer has no chips, only transistors and direct delivery.

Thanks!

When I had my B&K EX4420, I did think it was slightly on the warmish side of neutral.  Adding the PT-3II, it became even warmer.

I hear the EX4420 sound sweet but a friend of who owns an older less powerful version says that there's some mechanical transformer noise that you can hear even when it's not connected to speakers or source.
Did you experience it with your EX4420?

I did not experience any audible hum with any of my B&K's but have had some amps that were noisy.

First thing I would do on your Klipsch is to take out the Traxtrix horn and apply dynamat to the back side of the horn itself.  Also apply dynamat to the back of the horn/tweeter driver.  This should really cut down on the tweeter resonance and help control the high frequencies properly (actually, I'd recommend this for any horn-based speaker).

If that doesn't fix your problem, then I would agree on the B&K amp suggestion.  I had a B&K 200.5 amp and it was very warm (the standard B&K signature, I believe).  It had very forgiving highs, but it was just too warm for my tastes.

I am an extremely favorite of high-end mixer. the model of Yamaha mixer is always the best.
