We Need A Separate Forum for Fuses

LOL, I'll bet I gotcha on that Title! ;)  BTW, I put this thread under "Tech Talk" category as it involves the system physically, not tangentially. 

More seriously, two question survey:

1. Do you think designer fuses are A) a Gift to audiophiles, or B) Snake Oil 

2. Have you ever tried them?  Yes or No

In the tradition of such questions on Agon, I'll weigh in as we go along... 
Feel free to discuss and rant all you wish, but I would like to see clear answers to the questions. :)

You Americans with you’re guns and swagger and threats to others and you wonder why the rest of the world laughs at you! If I lived in the U.S. I would never post on this group why would I when one of your members threatens a "hit" over an audio post! You probably let nutjobs like this have a whole garage full of guns and bombs no wonder your USA is blowing itself up! But hey he’s a savior he won’t let people buy fancy fuses so he’s justified with this garbage. At least gdhal has a drug problem to blame for his crap this guy is just crazy so it’s ok why don’t you let him buy some more guns its his right after all! Freedom freedom freedom go go go USA!

Moderators, feel free to clean up and close the thread; I've gotten what I wanted out of it. I suspect if it is allowed to continue the rancor that was found on the other thread will increase here. I would rather this be closed than to lose the good exchanges on the thoughts behind trying or not trying fuses.   :)
