What is your experience with LiveVibe Audio Points?

Fellow Audiophile Fanatics -

I’ve been exploring the world of vibration tweaks. Tried the mapleshade heavy hats but found they didn’t do anything in my own system. However, I just installed three LiveVibe audio points under my Dac and was instantly taken aback. Everything improved - soundstage, imaging and bass punch.

I came across them from watching an OCD Mikey video where he recommended them. Have to say, these audio points are keepers.

Anyone else have direct experience with these LiveVibe Audio Points?

I have had one of their stands with their comes on the floor and on each shelf.  It's similar to the stands they make now.  I found the stand to be effective in improving the sound and detail of the music.  You would think cones are cones, but with the multiple angles on each cone, for some reason they seem to be more effective than plain brass cones.  I know the cones they make are not just brass, but I don't recall the metallurgical make up of them.

Yes.  I love them! Best I have used and replaced the much more expensive Townshend products.  They help all areas of music reproduction from top to bottom.  Clarity is fantastic as is bass reproduction and imaging.

I have used the Sistrum platforms which made an amazing improvement to the sound of the floorstanding speakers that I was using at that time, and also an apprentice platform which supports my DAC and also made a positive improvement that was easily heard. Using the points alone id more affordable but not as effective as using them as part of the platform system. Highly recommended.

I completely agree with the very positive comments regarding Live Vibe/Audio points products listed above. They improve the sound quality of audio components and speakers if used as intended. In my opinion it's money wisely spent.

It’s day two listening with these new LiveVibe Audio Points. I’m still stunned by the level of improvement they’ve made in my system. It’s as if I purchased a new upgraded Dac or preamp.

For context, I currently am running a Merason Dac1 mk1, LTA preamp, Conrad Johnson classic 120 tube amp with EL34 tubes with Dynaudio Heritage speakers. Music streamer/server is Innuos Zenith MKiii and cabling is a combination of Cardas, LessLoss and Revelation Audio Labs.

I think my biggest questions right now are “How the hell can these audio points impact the overall sound?” “And is this possibly system dependent?”

I have everything on a Fern and Roby wood and medal audio rack, which I absolutely love too.

@bluethinker

Are you using the points with the coupling discs? That is an important component of the vibration draining technology. The best ones are the larger A9CD5 coupling discs.

@roxy54 - Yes, using the coupling discs with the larger audio point. I feel like a shill for LiveVibe Audio right now, but I feel like I’m discovered a treasure of a product. The upgrade has been akin to inserting exceptional NOS tubes or my experience adding the LTA Microzotl preamp to my system.

@charles1dad @tvad @grannyring @roxy54 @nrchy - I’d welcome learning which components you’ve had success using Audio Points. The DAC is a slam dunk no-brainer.

I’m wondering if it makes sense to use them with my preamp too? Or (somehow this feels like overkill) my tube amps?

I initially used the Audio points beneath my DAC, CD transport and tube preamplifier. I was so happy with the sonic results I began using the Live Vibe Apprentice platforms. I have them in use with every component in my audio system except for my Pro-Ject RS2T CD transport ( Audio points).

I’ve had this utilization about 10 years or so. I know that the Apprentice platforms are more expensive than when I purchased mine. Nonetheless still a very good value proposition. I’m not surprised by your positive outcome.

@bluethinker

Further clarification, my DAC, preamp and mono block amplifiers are all tube components. I use the older generation Sistrum platform/audio points underneath my 300b SET mono blocks. Audio points work beautifully (Sonics) with tube components.
