Best lighting for an audio room

My question is one of lighting selection:

This may have little consequence to the sound of an audio system, but I am curious if anyone has ever known there to be a benefit to one type of lighting or another - maybe one is less noisy, maybe ceiling fans are bad, etc.

I know there are the known noise issues with dimmers....

Any lighting gurus out there chime in!

Try the newest LED (No, not the rope stuff).

It's now operational on a dimmer switch. Can provide both task and ambiant lighting. I own a design firm and we have begun employing LED in an important way.

Wonderful effect when set behind one's equipment stacks.

Expensive but it will last and last.

Christmas lights do not put out enough heat to warrant a smoke alarm.
