Many baby boomers struggle with their growing insignificance. Seriously though, it's in-person shared experience where to often shared community is via the virtual world, so kudos to them for the meet-up. Sure beats joining a kooky congregation and demonstrating at funerals.

I tell me teenage sons about how we used to do that, when listening to music was what we were doing, not doing stuff while music was playing.
