Yes, you will lose some gain; but maybe not enough to ruin the sound. Also, the longer the cable, the more gain you will lose. Satellite quality RG-6 coax is worth the extra cost for long runs..

I think I know the answer to this, but I'll ask ask anyway.
I bought a Fanfare FM antenna, and it has greatly improved my tuner's reception. Can I hook a second tuner into it by running the two cables into a splitter that runs to that antenna, without sacrificing anything? I've positioned the antenna in the attic. What kind of effect, if any, may the electric wiring that runs through the attic have upon reception?
