Fuses that matter.

I have tried six different fuses, including some that were claimed to not be directional. I have long used the IsoClean fuses as the best I have heard. No longer! I just got two 10 amp slow-blows WiFi Tuning Supreme fuses that really cost too much but do make a major difference in my sound. I still don't understand how a fuse or its direction can alter sound reproduction for the better, but they do and the Supreme is indeed! I hear more detail in the recordings giving me a more holographic image. I also hear more of the top and bottom ends. If only you could buy them for a couple of bucks each.

Knghifi, I did try them. I found them smeared and midrange oriented. I should also note that I have many of the older HiFi tuning fuses lying around here unused.

Donjr, you are right about the price. They are expensive. I don't think the Cable company allows trying them first with fuses.
I have no idea why the HiFi Tuning Supreme fuse should make a difference and yet it makes a very considerable difference in my system. No Hype just fact, these things work

It sounds like the fuse is not broken in. When new, it sounds too sweet with emphasis in the mid but never smeared in my system. It takes 100+ hours for a fully break in. I have several friends using them with the same positive results.
I'm sure different fuses have different electrical properties that can affect the signal passing through it.

Personally I will not lose any sleep over fuses though. There are many other more straightforward ways to tweak the sound as needed.

Might have to consider getting into the audiophile fuse business though. $$$$$$$$$$$s
