Wow, that's vague! I suggest Magnepan if you don't need concussive bass slam. There's also Vandersteen. Maybe try some vintage speakers with a tube receiver?

Yes, vague. If you are tired of listening, are you sure it's your speakers that are the reason? If you intend to move from home theatre to 2-channel, you'll have a chance to upgrade your source. In my experience, listening to an ordinary source through great amps and speakers gets old fast.

Sorry this isn't the speaker recommendation you asked for. I don't know how many OM5s you've got or how many you want, so it's hard to suggest.

A great combination in my experience is NAD electronics and Paradigm speakers. You can never go wrong either w/a pair of used Vandersteen 1Cs or 2Cs or a pair of used PSB Stratuses. Always home demo before you buy!

sorry vagueness is just a gift (i am using a yamaha dspa1) and generally listen to a mix of beth orton -ben folds-rodney crowell nothing to extreme but i do like it loud not to bass heavy my plan is to upgrade everything starting w/ speakers no built in powerd subs

how about something like these, price is right and they sound pretty good, not alot of heavy bass but do have some kick...by the way I am not the seller. Just an idea.
