I still have A pair of Allison Ones BI-Amp ones for my second system.

Back in the 80s I called Allison Acoustics and to my surprise Roy himself took the call

The years I had the Infinity IRS Betas. And called infinity Mr Nudell never took call

RIP Roy
A brilliant man. Most audiophiles do not realize how very much his theories and experiments changed the speaker industry, both consumer and pro. His AES research papers guided many speaker designers in how to produce a more natural tone balance in living rooms and in studio mixing rooms. This I know made recordings better, and led to improvements in many speakers.

In my book, Roy was definitely a genius. Met him a few times in his display rooms at the Vegas shows- a gentleman too, always willing to explain the slightest details of his speakers or his AES papers. Always happy to play all sorts of music.

Thank you so much, Roy! To me, you were an inspiration.
Had Allison Ones for about 10 years.  Enjoyed them and eventually sold them to a college buddy.
