Best Budget RCA cables

Hi guys,

What is your go-to budget/inexpensive RCA cable recommendation ($30-$50)? Would there be an appreciable difference between this interconnect and $6 Kabeldirekt cables?  The Kabeldirekt RCAs sound pretty great to my ears!

Thanks!

Here we go again, another generalized statement from the chief of cable’R’us disneyland :-)

Just posted this link in response to a different topic here...

My go-to for inexpensive-but-good interconnects (and power cables) is Signal Cable: http://signalcable.com/analog_interconnects.html

I have 4-5 prs of analog 2 RCA interconnects. The build quality & sound are excellent. The only criticism I could make (a very faint criticism, at that) is that these interconnects are relatively stiff.

Try them. You won't be let down.

@lemaze - this is way over your budget, but Music Direct is selling the Audioquest Kind Cobra cables at 40-60% off retail:

https://www.musicdirect.com/Search/specials/Closeout?specials=Closeout&category=Cables&brand=Audioquest&sort=sitePrice%7CASC&page=1&pagesize=24&c1=tab-products&c2=grid

The King Cobra has their version of 21awg solid-core OCC copper conductors in a foam PE insulation.  Silver plated RCA connectors.

Zu auctions cables on the Bay. I got a pair of 1 meter Wylde RCAs for $37 including shipping. $175 value (on sale from $370); but I had to go through the auction process several times before I won. I'm still breaking them in, so no comparative review from me yet.
