Ayre used to offer their own brand cables, made by Cardas....not sure if they still do

I'm switching out my rca cables for xlr. Which IC's do you recommend going from CD Player to Preamp and Preamp to Amp.
The IC's xlr I own are:
Purist Audio Design Venustas Praesto Rev &
Purist Audio Design Proteus Rev A
My system :
Ayre Acoustics CX-7eMP
Belles Aria preamp
Maker Audio G7 Amp
Tyler Dx2 speakers

I'll never understand Ayre's affinity for Cardas. I found the Ayre/Cardas cables to rob the life from the music, negating the strengths of Ayre equipment. fdavis, I think you already have some very fine XLR cables in the Purist. Try them before going further. Bettering those is gonna cost a lot.. Dave |
