We Need A Separate Forum for Fuses

LOL, I'll bet I gotcha on that Title! ;)  BTW, I put this thread under "Tech Talk" category as it involves the system physically, not tangentially.

More seriously, two question survey:

1. Do you think designer fuses are A) a Gift to audiophiles, or B) Snake Oil

2. Have you ever tried them?  Yes or No

In the tradition of such questions on Agon, I'll weigh in as we go along...
Feel free to discuss and rant all you wish, but I would like to see clear answers to the questions. :)

Jitter, are you experiencing acid reflux again? Relax, I’m joking.

Besides, I thought everyone talked down to gdhal. 🤡
Geoff, not you, mister clear. But your position as "humble scribe" is in jeopardy.
Yes my phriend jetter. I understand. I’m very much aware of those on the forum who listen to the heart-of-gold band 💛 and those who do not.

Had you not replied, I remained grateful geoffkait was to have his way and get the last word - gdhal 😉
I think those obsessed with “designer” fuses; even though those fuses may not have generally accepted fuse rating certification-or any recognized approval from any electrical standards authority; really deserve their own web forum. Perhaps “Fuses Unlimited” ?  That would significantly lighten traffic on Audiogon :)
Interesting comment. But don’t you think it’s the Naysayers who are the ones obsessed with fuses. I’m mean, come on, people! We need a staff psychologist just to handle the refuseniks. The Jive Five could be on the cover of Psychology Today. Al, Ralph, George and Wolfman.Costco and gdhal are not yet professional. Moops hasn’t decided what he wants to be yet.
