Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Just listened to P.F. Meddle. Cranked Echoes to peaks of about 110 db. Awesome ! Enjoy ! MrD.
Sue Foley - The Ice Queen

This is an amazing album if you like Texas blues. Sue has her own distinctive style. A true artist in her own right. Has some amazing sidemen on the album which proves she is admired by other great Blues guitarists.
We caught Sue Foley last year at Antone's in Austin, playing with Billy Gibbons, Charlie Sexton, Mike Flanigin and Jimmie Vaughan- she can kick ass. Had a '60s look going with a 'hair-do'- good entertainer.
The Nines - self-titled

Heard it courtesy of Spotify. VERY difficult to find a copy for purchase, but finally did (CD Baby? Digital download but only MP3 if I recall). Track 1 is "Sun Don’t Shine". Accept no substitutes. This is a Steve Eggers album.

Wish the drummer were a little more on top of the beat (or even a little ahead) and sound quality ain’t exactly odd-ee-o-file BUT great garage rock...good vocals, strong songs, great guitar riffs and excellent screaming. It’s been that kind of a month.
