High end in Tokyo?

I'm in Tokyo for the next week. Are there any good stores to visit with esoteric/high end gear that is reflective of trends I've been reading about in Japan for decades? Not interested in seeing the typical fare available in the US.

I just posted this because all the electronics when I lived in Japan are in multiples of 10x the price in usa...guess its fun to look but its really expensive and a waste of time unless you got a hundred grand or so...go to roppongi and have fun

Enjoy Tokyo!

If you look up the local audio forums there they will give you a list. If you have the means to travel to Malaysia while over there let me know. There is a cool "Tunable Room" there.

Just go to the Akhihabara area of Tokyo and enjoy. Probably the greatest collection of high end HiFi stores in the world. Of course, there are a lot of stores that are definitely not high end in this area.
