Better than Magico and Wilson audio?

Couldn't you just outdo a Magico by making a cabinet out of brick, stuffing a bit of fibreglass in there and putting your accutons on the front? This would also cost a fraction of the cost of a Magico.

Do people enjoy wasting their money or do people care more about the appearance of a speaker than the way it sounds?

Why pay so much more when you can have it for far less?

The problem with people on this forum is they will ridicule my ideas yet they havent the faintest idea why it is a bad idea.

If its such a bad idea explain why Erik. I dare anyone else to explain why its wrong.

What a brilliant idea!  Plus with the recent decline of retail audio stores there should be an abundance of audiophile bricks and mortar.
Try it and find out.  You could be on to something big!

Of course appearance matters to many but not all.
I heard that Norm Abram from This Old House was working on a brick speaker. That is, until someone put a mailbox on top of it.

All the best,
